Chesapeake Bay Style Crab Cakes

Making great authentic Chesapeake Bay crab cakes is a lot easier than most suspect. This recipe is one made from tweaking multiple recipes  and adding my own touch. The following ingredients are necessary to make them RIGHT:

3 table spoons of Mayonnaise
2 table spoons Mustard
Half a sleeve of Saltine crackers

1 lb of crab meat
2 Tablespoons Worstershire Sauce
1 large egg

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl except for your crackers, making sure to thoroughly combine them and have a nice even yellowish color.

Take crackers and crush them up (i do this in a ziplock bag to prevent crumbs everywhere) and add them to your mix.

Stir mix to ensure cracker is evenly distributed.

Pat them into patties and either Fry, broil, or blacken.

Enjoy a little taste of the bay!

IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: If your mix comes out a little too runny you can always add more cracker. This will absorb the liquid and thicken the mix but make sure they are not too dry or they will fall apart in a fryer.
